Using Lightroom yet? It can speed up your workflow, with less effort to edit pictures while automating many tasks and making all your pictures instantly available in an organized filespace. Adobe System's "Lightroom" software is written expressly for photographers, starting with your camera card all the way through to rendering the final picture. It's your answer to getting and staying organized.
If you need to post-process large numbers of travel or event photos, integrate your older scanned slides and prints with your newer digital files, or simply get your many files in one place so you can search, find and use them quickly, you should consider Lightroom. If some photos need more work, switch seamlessly to Adobe Photoshop or Elements.
This one-day course will familiarize you with the program's operations and capabilities, and get you started on its regular use toward faster workflow. Classes start at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday and after a lunch break, continue until 4:30.
You can enjoy the course without actually owning a copy of the latest Lightroom 2, but if you have it bring a laptop (PC or Mac) with the program installed and some images on a camera card. You can emulate the demonstrations, while the handouts will let you take home what you've learned.
With Lightroom, you should never have to use another organizing tool.
Cost is $169.95, discounted to $149.95 if booked at least 10 days in advance.
